of several “AIA Excellence in Craft” Awards, specializes in the
design and manufacturing of custom curtain wall systems using
the rain screen principle. For more than 15 years AWS has
designed, engineered, manufactured and installed unitized curtain walls, glass walls, metal walls, stone walls, precast walls,
skylights, canopies and rain screen cladding throughout the
Midwest and will work nationally for the appropriate opportunities.
Business Situation
Architectural Wall Systems (ArchWall) was using excel for their weekly timesheets. Every week these timesheets had to be manually entered into the Timberline Accounting system. With growing number of projects and these being executed by superintends on the field, it became extremely difficult for accounting to keep up. Project Managers were frustrated of the delayed and inaccurate reports. ArchWall looked for as off the shelf solution to meet their needs, however found none. AEC Tek’s experience with the TimeSheet systems and its integration expertise with Timberline accounting system convinced ArchWall to build a custom solution.
The Solution
AEC Tek studied the business situation and build a solution from ground up. AEC Tek developed a web based system that helped superintends, accounting and project managers to go paperless.
Superindents enter time using their laptops and web browsers.
